I was happy to see my Adsense earnings continue to rise this month with a $200 increase. This is my first month making money with chitika and I expect the earnings from their site to increase in the months going forward. I also started making money with Kontera this month but I won’t quite hit the $100 pay out so that won’t be included for January. The $.19 from eHow was actually paid to me because I only made $1.19 in 2009 and they paid me $1.19 – a $1 transaction fee. I was surprised they paid me at all for 2009.

In all, my income came from 7 sources and was dominated by Adsense. I own and operate 4 different niche blogs and use adsense, chitika and kontera to advertise on them. I also sell links with Linkworth and text-link-ads on those blogs.

My freelance writing venture has not started to pay off yet, but just like everything else it takes time. I’ve written well over 100 articles in January and I expect to have some revenue to report next month from eHow and InfoBarrel.
