Aweber vs Feedburner – Which Is Better?
Everyone that owns a blog wants to give their readers an opportunity to subscribe to their blog updates by email. Feedburner and Aweber both allow you to do this. Most bloggers use Feedburner when they start out because it’s free. After you’ve been blogging for a while the limited features of Feedburner can be a real drag. It holds you back from reaching your full subscriber and earning potential. It can become especially annoying to someone who updates their blog every day but doesn’t want to send an email to their subscribers with each update.
What Feedburner can do that Aweber can’t:
1. Charge nothing – It’s free.
What Aweber can do that Feedburner can’t:
1. Send out a newsletter with your recent blog posts. You can configure it to go out as often as you want.
2. Set up an auto responder. New subscribers receive a series of emails after they subscribe.
3. Provide a customized form wizard. With Feedburner you either stick with what they give you or learn CSS to modify the form. Aweber provides a free wizard to help you design a form to fit your blog design.
4. Cut through SPAM blockers. Emails you send to your readers are not spam, however many feedburner emails get caught up in SPAM filters. You want your readers to get your emails.
5. Provide a Thank You page or redirect users to any page you want after they sign up.
6. Automatically send them a welcome message or a download link to a free e-book. Many bloggers use a free e-book as an incentive to subscribe to their blog. You can only use Aweber to send it to them automatically.
7. Customize the emails or newsletters you send. With Feedburner you cannot customize emails send to your subscribers.

How do you feel about iContact?
I have been learning aweber for three months now. It was totally foreign at first.
But as you get one list going you start seeing the routine involved in each additional list.
Aweber has the best form design feature of any autoresponder I have seen.
When the questions start coming aweber has great videos that have answered all of mine.
Have a great evening ,William
Good article. While Feedburner is free, it is a limited service. Not bad when you are first starting out and have no cash but not a great long term solution.
