If you already have a Twitter account then you are ready to make money with Sponsored Tweets. It’s very easy to get setup and start earning money. You are authenticated by logging directly into Twitter then being redirected back to Sponsored Tweets to complete your profile. You set the price you want to charge advertisers to tweet out their message. I would suggest that you start off much lower than their suggested price and work your way up. Once you get a few bites you can figure out what people are really willing to pay for you to tweet out their advertisement.

I’ve been using this service to make money for a few weeks now and I’m very happy with the results. Here are a few tips that will help you to earn more from you tweets.

1. Update your Twitter account
Make sure you have your background, profile and picture up on Twitter and up to date. Use good keywords in your profile and name (If possible) to help advertisers find you.

2. Use keywords in your Sponsored Tweets profile
When you sign up make sure you enter a bunch of good keywords in your profile that say who you are and what you tweet about.

3. Select the re Tweet option
Make sure you check the If my tweets underperform, re-tweet them out up to 2 times checkbox. That will let advertisers know that they will be guaranteed to get the most bang for their buck.

4. Keep it real
Do your best to keep your tweets real, sincere and tweet often. The more authentic your account, the more likely advertisers will want to work with you.
